====== DEVICES ======

A <color blue>device</color> is an operational unit that can be <color blue>powered</color> or <color blue>networked</color>. When powered, devices will run <color blue>programs</color> that enable them to produce <color blue>uses</color> and function as network equipment. Typically, a networked device can be accessed by <color blue>routines</color> using a <color blue>debugger</color>.

When <color blue>hovering the mouse</color> over a device, important information such as the device's product name, device power state, the <color blue>hardware address</color> and configured <color blue>network address</color> and <color blue>designated DNS server address</color> will be shown. By default, a device purchased off-the-shelf will not have any network address or designated DNS server assigned, therefore ommiting these information from the hover panel.
